There are several different routes you could take for this journey, and the one you pick may depend on travel conditions on the day. If you have a flight to catch, it would be a good idea to ensure you have at least 2 hours for this journey (you can always take advantage of the great selection of shopping and restaurants at the airport if you arrive earlier than expected), as it usually takes between 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 50 minutes. You should also allow time to arrive at least 2 hours before your flight to check in on time.

What is the best train route to Stansted Airport from Wembley Stadium?

There's lots of different train routes to Stansted Aiport, a convenient way is to make your way from the Stadium to Wembley Park Station (a short 10-15 minute walk) where you can get on the Metropolitan line (purple) to London Liverpool Street station and catch the Stansted Express to take you to the airport.

Once you arrive at Stansted Airport, you can make your way to the main terminal by following the signs or asking one of the friendly staff members for directions. It is a very short, 2-3 minute walk to the main terminal where you will be able to find your way to the check in desk.

Please note your Stansted Express ticket is not valid on the underground, but you can purchase Tube tickets at Wembley Park Station (or use your Oyster/contactless card) for the first leg of this journey and use your Stansted Express ticket from Tottenham Hale or Liverpool Street station to Stansted Airport.
