How do Duo train tickets work
- Book your tickets together, and travel from £18.75 per person each way
- Available as a Single or Return between Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street, Stratford and Tottenham Hale
- Travel anytime on the day of your booking
- Return anytime within a month with the Duo Return
- Available online up to six months in advance

Duo ticket restrictions - Terms and Conditions
- Both of you must travel together at all times, throughout the entire journey in both directions
- You can’t use our Duo ticket offer with a Railcard or any other promotion or offer
- For the outbound journey, you must travel on the date you booked
- You can’t start, break or resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station
- The offer is valid until further notice. Stansted Express reserves the right to make changes without prior notice and withdraw the offer at any time, provided that all outstanding purchases are honoured
- Submissions must not be made by agents or third parties
Refunds for Duo Tickets
Tickets can be refunded up until 23:59 on the day before they become valid for travel.
After this time, refunds are only available if you choose not to travel because your train is cancelled, delayed, or you are affected by an exceptional circumstance. These refunds can be requested for up to 28 days after the ticket expires.

Frequently Asked Questions about Duo train tickets
Can you buy Duo tickets on the train?
You cannot buy Duo tickets while travelling on the Stansted Express. You must purchase them online or at the station before your journey.
