Unfortunately a person was hit by a train earlier between Bishops Stortford and Broxbourne. Network Rail and the emergency services have now reopened the line.
The line has now reopened. Network Rail and emergency services have finished with the incident. Currently services to Hertford East/Stansted Airport/Cambridge are disrupted, and will be subject to short notice cancellations, alterations and delays whilst the service recovers.

- From Stansted Airport, travel on the first available train to Cambridge
- Change at Cambridge for Great Northern trains to London Kings Cross
- Travel on travel on the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines from Kings Cross St Pancras to Liverpool Street
- Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.

18 - 21 August: Late evening diversion to 2330 and 2345 Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street trains
Due to planned maintenance works, on the evenings of Monday 18th to Thursday 21st August 2025, the 2330 and 2345 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street trains will no longer stop at Seven Sisters Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale Station.
