Late night services to and from Stansted Airport every Friday night/Saturday morning

Stansted Express is running additional overnight train services on Friday nights this summer, supporting late arrivals and early morning departures. 

Most services run between Stansted Airport and Tottenham Hale, with some early trains continuing to London Liverpool Street.

Services operate from 3 July to 25 September, running into Saturday mornings.

17 - 20 August: Some trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale in the late evening

Due to planned maintenance works, on the evenings of Monday 17th to Thursday 20th August 2026, the 22:58, 23:09, 23:28 and 23:41 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street, and 23:21 Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport trains will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

18 - 21 August: 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport Train will stop at Seven Sisters instead

Due to planned maintenance on the mornings of Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st August 2026, the 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport train will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead this train will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

23 August: Trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale in the morning until 0810

Due to planned maintenance work, until 08:10 on Sunday 23rd August 2026, trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

31 Aug - 3 Sept: late evening services diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale instead of Seven Sisters

Due to planned maintenance works, on the evenings of Monday 31st August to Thursday 3rd September 2026, the 23:28 and 23:43 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street will no longer stop at Seven Sisters Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale Station.

20 Sept: Replacement coach service will operate between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne until 0910

Due to planned maintenance works between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne, there will be no direct train service between Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street on Sunday 20th September 2026 until after 0910. A replacement coach service will operate between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne.  From Broxbourne a train service will be in operation to Liverpool Street.

20 September: No train service to/from Stratford until 1800

Due to planned maintenance work, we will not be running any service between Stratford and Tottenham Hale on Sunday 20th September until after 1800. You will need to travel via London Liverpool Street before 1800.

27 September : Journey times will be extended until 0950 due to route diversion

Due to planned maintenance works between Liverpool Street and Tottenham Hale, on Sunday 27th September 2026 trains will be diverted via an alternative route and experience extended journey times.

27 September : late evening services diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale instead of Seven Sisters

Due to planned maintenance works, on the evening of Sunday 27th September, the 23:28 and 23:43 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street will no longer stop at Seven Sisters Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale Station.

28 Sept - 1 Oct: Some trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale in the late evening

Due to planned maintenance works, on the evenings of Monday 28th September to Thursday 1st October 2026, the 22:58, 23:10, 23:28 and 23:43 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street, and 23:21 Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport trains will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

29 Sept - 2 Oct: 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport Train will stop at Seven Sisters instead

Due to planned maintenance on the mornings of Tuesday 29th September to Friday 2nd October 2026, the 04:52 Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport train will no longer stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead this train will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station at 04:50.

4 October : Trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale in the morning until 0810

Due to planned maintenance work, until 08:10 on Sunday 4th October 2026, trains will not stop at Tottenham Hale Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Seven Sisters Station.

11 October : Journey times will be extended until 0950 due to route diversion

Due to planned maintenance works between Liverpool Street and Tottenham Hale, on Sunday 11th October 2026 trains will be diverted via an alternative route and experience extended journey times.

12 - 15 October: late evening services diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale instead of Seven Sisters

Due to planned maintenance works, on the evenings of Monday 12th to Thursday 15th October 2026, the 23:28 and 23:43 Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street will no longer stop at Seven Sisters Station, instead these trains will be diverted to stop at Tottenham Hale Station.

17 -18 October: No direct train service to/from Stansted Airport

Due to planned maintenance work between Waltham Cross and Stansted Airport, we will not be running direct services to/from Stansted Airport on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October 2026. 
 
You will need to travel via London Kings Cross and Cambridge, or other alternative routes for Tottenham Hale or Stratford departures. 
 
Journey times will be significantly extended - please check before you travel and allow extra time for your journey. Tickets will be accepted on London Underground and selected National Rail services.
