Stansted Express is a brand of National Express. National Express is the train operator providing services to London Liverpool Street and the East of England.
The franchise commenced on 1st April 2004 and was created to provide an integrated and seamless service across the East of England. National Express is committed to bringing a fresh approach to rail services for the region and we will deliver one integrated rail network in and out of Liverpool Street Station.
It is the first franchise to result from the SRA's policy of one operator for each major London terminal.
